Three Levels of Expandable Container Houses: Standard, Luxury, and Top Models | Old Bull Expandable Homes
The Real Difference Between Standard, Luxury, and Top Expandable Container Houses
When people first look into expandable container homes, most don’t realize how much the details matter — insulation type, wall panels, flooring, window systems — all these determine how long your house lasts, and how comfortable it feels inside.
At Old Bull Expandable Homes, we classify our container houses into three clear levels: Standard, Luxury, and Top. Each one is designed with a different balance between price, comfort, and long-term performance.
1. Standard Expandable Container House
The Standard model is perfect for those who want an affordable, practical solution.
It comes with aluminum alloy windows and a basic exterior wall without metal panels — simple, efficient, and durable enough for daily living or temporary housing.
Despite the lower cost, it’s still built from solid steel structure and fully foldable within minutes. It’s ideal for construction camps, mining sites, or short-term accommodation projects.
You can still customize layout and color, and it ships as a complete unit — two sets per 40HQ container.

2. Luxury Expandable Container House
This is where things get interesting.
The Luxury model upgrades the structure with metal wall panels and thermally broken aluminum windows, making it far better insulated and more stylish.
When people see the model I often show in videos — that’s this one, the Enhanced Luxury version.
It’s suitable for family living, Airbnb projects, or small holiday houses.
If you add a terrace with a sloping roof (around $1000 extra), it instantly feels like a modern villa.
Optional upgrades include:
Polyurethane insulation (134.74㎡) — $1377
SPC flooring (37.17㎡) — $345.15
Each unit is factory-prepared, so installation is simple. Six people can set it up in under 15 minutes.

3. Top Expandable Container House
The Top model is built for those who want a permanent home — not just a portable house.
The internal height reaches 2.4 meters, giving it a real residential feel.
Inside, both roof and floor are insulated with 5cm high-pressure polyurethane foam, which performs far better than standard EPS or XPS.
The flooring is upgraded from PVC to SPC, making it waterproof, durable, and elegant.
It’s the closest experience to a traditional house — warm in winter, cool in summer, and nearly soundproof.
If you’re looking for something that can last 20+ years with proper care, this is the one.

FAQ
Q1: Can I customize my layout and materials?
Absolutely. You can choose from 20ft, 30ft, or 40ft expandable models, with flexible layouts and finishes — from metal walls to SPC flooring.
Q2: How long does it take to install?
Each unit arrives almost ready-to-use. Six people can complete setup within 15 minutes.
Q3: What’s the lifespan of your houses?
With proper maintenance, 15–25 years is normal. The Top model can last even longer thanks to its full polyurethane insulation.
Q4: What after-sales service do you provide?
Once your deposit is paid, we send detailed manuals, videos, and 1-on-1 installation guidance. We also help with spare parts if needed.
Q5: Can I order just one unit first?
Yes. We often recommend starting with a sample order to test quality and structure before large-scale import.
